A player must be 18 years old or older by the
first night of the league session to play TPPA league.
All players must be in possession of a valid I.D.
Any player that is under 21 MUST adhere to the following:
1.
The captain MUST contact the bar owner prior to the under age player entering
the bar.
2. The captain must identify the under age player to the
bartender/manager upon entering the bar.
3. The under age player
may not consume or "handle" alcohol.
4. The under age player must leave
the bar as soon as the match is finalized.
5. For any reason the under
age player is asked to leave
during a match, his/her unplayed games will be
scored a zero.
6. Any infractions will result in a board review.
A
player that is voted out of the league will forfeit all monies.
Play Fair Play Hard
Vegas Money Division players must have 8 weeks of play
with the same team
to be eligible to play in the End of Session League Championships.
Sportsman Division players must have 5 weeks of play
with the same team
to be eligible to play in the End of Session League Championships.
"Sand bagging"
Sand bagging is when a player will intentionally lose a game
or intentionally pocket less balls.
Generally, this is done when a player or team wants to lower their average.
This is viewed as DISHONEST by TPPA.
TPPA PLAY FAIR ACT
Any player that is found guilty of sand bagging by board vote
will have their average changed as determined by the board
and will NOT be eligible for any individual awards.
The players individual
average will reflect a "BA" (Board Adjusted)
OR
may be asked to leave the league, forfeiting all monies.
All board decisions are made
"in the best interest of the players"
and are deemed final.
A player that
has been verbally warned by a
TPPA board member for
any infraction of TPPA's rules can be voted
out of the league by "board vote".
If a player or team is voted out or quits that person or team
will forfeit ALL monies paid to TPPA.
TPPA members play BCAPL rules with the
following EXCEPTIONS
TPPA DOES NOT restrict practicing
during a match; however; a player may
NOT practice OR
touch balls on another pool table if he/she is playing in a game.
If
a player that is involved in a game touches a ball on another table it is a
foul.
Any team member that IS NOT involved in a league game
may practice on another open table.
PLEASE, remember to be courteous of games being played near your practice
game.
and
during regular session play
Cell phones are permitted,
please limit to 15 secs.
However; BCAPL cell phone rule
will be in effect for all Championship Play-offs.
BCAPL FEES
BCAPL fee: $15.00 per year* -one fee covers all league
play for the entire BCAPL year.*(expires 5/31/11)
BCAPL fees are due no later than the first night of play for any player.
TPPA RULES RE: SUBSTITUTES aka
"SUBS"
A 'sub" is a player that does not have an established
singles TPPA average.
Vegas Division Players:
Anyone as a sub without prior notice to
tppa.
If a sub plays and is
not BCA sanctioned with TPPA, the sub
must pay a $15.00 BCA fee that
night in order to have the entire team scores recognized by TPPA.
Sportsman Division:
ALL subs approved by an Advisory Board Member.
Only 5 players must be BCA sanctioned.
1st time subs will use the following handicap:
Women -
6.0 Men - 7.0
If a player shoots on Monday and Tuesday the player
will NOT
use a average from another night. He/She will "come in" as a
sub.
Subs may NOT play anchor.
After the balls have been
broken on the first game of the match,
no score sheets will be
changed/altered.
Only a player that has an established average
with TPPA may play anchor.
A PLAYER MAY BE ADDED TO ANY TEAM THE LAST TW0 WEEKS
THIER AVERAGE WILL
BE:
MEN 8.0 WOMEN 7.0
TPPA QUALIFICATIONS
RE: WEEKS OF PLAY
Players must have 8 weeks of play
with the same team to qualify
for the end of session Vegas Play-off Championships.
Sportsman Division - must
play 5 weeks with the same team.
A player may
play in more than one division; however, may only play on one team for the
entire
Play-off Championships and must have qualified with weeks of play
from the
same team.
BCAPL QUALIFICATIONS RE: WEEKS OF PLAY
Players must have 8 weeks of play in a single BCA sanctioned league session in
order to qualify
for the BCAPL National 8 Ball Tournament in Las Vegas, NV..
The players
must play in the same league.
ALL BALLS THAT ARE KNOCKED OR JUMPED OFF THE
TABLE ARE "POCKETED" AND CREDITED.
